 Spinal Decompression

This technique is typically performed on a special table and is designed to realign the spine by applying pressure in key areas of the back. “Spinal decompression is a term that describes the relief of pressure on one or many pinched nerves (neural impingement) of the spinal column.[1]

Spinal decompression can be achieved both surgically and non-surgically and is used to treat conditions that result in chronic back pain such as disc bulgedisc herniationsciatica, spinal stenosis, and isthmic and degenerative spondylolisthesis.”

The chiropractor effectively decompresses, using a non-surgical technique, to the discs by applying a gentle stretch to the to the specific region of the spine, which may help relieve pain from disc hernia, failed back surgery syndromes, leg pain, sciatica, neck pain, arm pain, ruptured discs, herniated discs, slipped discs, low back pain, facet syndrome, bulging discs, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, sprain/strain, disc prolapse, etc.

Electrical stimulation uses an electrical current to cause a single muscle or a group of muscles to contract. By placing electrodes on the skin in various locations one can recruit the appropriate muscle fibers. Contracting the muscle via electrical stimulation helps strengthen the affected muscle. Along with increasing muscle strength, the contraction of the muscle also promotes blood supply to the area that assists in healing.

 Nutritional Supplements by Standard Process

As a nation, we eat poor-quality foods that have been stripped of nutrients. The foods we eat are not providing our bodies with the nutrition it needs to survive and be healthy. We suffer from diabetes, heart attacks, obesity, and the list goes on and on. Given proper nutrition, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. If properly fed and given the right nutrients, the human body is designed to repair itself. To do so, we need to eat a healthier diet, exercise, and take high-quality supplements made from whole foods. Whole food supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet, all the vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients that foods possess in a way that nature intended, in a whole food form.
